Applies to: This instruction is applicable to the 437th Aerial Port Squadron, identified maintenance agencies assigned to the 437th Maintenance Squadron and the 437th Operational Support Squadron/Life Support.
The 437th Aerial Port Squadron, Fleet Services, is responsible for inspection, storage and overall control of all ATGL units assigned to Charleston Air Force Base and will maintain ownership and reporting responsibility for ATGL units. (paragraph 1)
Perform pre-flight, post-flight and periodic inspections on ATGL units in accordance with applicable technical orders. The frequency of inspection will be in accordance with technical data. (paragraph 2)
Perform cleaning and operational checks in accordance with AMCI 24-101, Vol 10, Military Airlift-Fleet Service. (paragraph 2)
Coordinate directly with other activities identified below for repairs beyond their capabilities and obtain work order numbers for file to track historical maintenance data. (paragraph 2)
Perform ATGL structural evaluation/repairs. (paragraph 2)
