HURLBURTFIELDI84-101 establishes the Air Park Council and describes aircraft acquisition, monument placement, sponsorship, inspections, repairs, flags, and aerospace vehicle preparation. The inspection and any discrepancies, such as paint, structural maintenance, and wash requirements, will be documented on the applicable AF Form 3581, USAF Museum Aerospace Vehicle Static Display Maintenance Log. (paragraph 8)
The 1 SOMXG/QAE shall document aircraft wash inspections on their Performance Assessment Reports and maintain copies for a period of 3 years. (paragraph 8)
Follow these instructions for any aircraft being prepared for exhibition in the airpark to ensure the safe display of the item. (paragraph 9)
No restoration activity or access to the interior will be permitted until an interior and exterior radiation survey has been completed. (paragraph 1)
The POW/MIA and U.S. Flag will be continuously displayed.
