Applies to: This instruction implements AFPD 36-25, Military Promotion and Demotion and establishes procedures, policy, and responsibilities that apply to all squadrons, to include tenant units, assigned to Hurlburt Field.
Selection opportunity is 15 percent of the total time-in-grade (TIG) and time-in-service (TIS) eligible population. (paragraph 1)
Commanders will “pre-screen” all eligible members for negative “quality force” indicators. (paragraph 2)
Selects a minimum of four, but no more than five, CBB members. (paragraph 3)
The board will be held no later than the last day of the selection month. (paragraph 7)
If a nominee is unable to physically meet the board, arrangements for a videoconference, teleconference or other means will be made to allow the nominee the opportunity to speak with the board. (paragraph 7)
