Applies to: This instruction provides a base program to minimize aircraft exposure to potentially hazardous bird strikes and applies to all host, associate, and temporary duty organizations on Hill Air Force Base (AFB), including Air National Guard and US Air Force Reserve members and units.
The purpose of this publication is to provide a coordinated installation program to minimize aircraft exposure to bird and wildlife hazards at Hill AFB and the surrounding areas.
Implementation of specific portions of this program is continuous, while other portions are driven by the season and accompanying bird and wildlife activity such as deer, fox, and skunks.
The 75th Air Base Wing Commander (75 ABW/CC) is responsible for the implementation of this instruction.
Ensure all records generated as a result of processes prescribed in this publication adhere to Air Force Instruction (AFI) 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and are disposed of in accordance with (IAW) the Air Force (AF) Records Disposition Schedule which is located in the AF Records Information Management System.
Submit requests for waivers through the chain of command to the appropriate tier waiver approval authority, or alternately, to the publication OPR for non-tiered requirements in this publication.
