The instruction requires mandatory compliance and gives precedence to the most restrictive procedure when it conflicts with the Texas Transportation Code.
Applies to: The provisions apply to all people within the limits of Goodfellow Air Force Base (GAFB) to include, but not limited to, military personnel, Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) Units, Air National Guard (ANG), civilian employees, family members, visitors, and Department of Defense (DoD) contractors.
The terms “must,” “shall,” and “will” denote mandatory actions in this instruction.
In cases where this instruction and the TTC are in conflict, the most restrictive procedure will have precedence on GAFB.
Any vehicle that has not been moved for a 30-day period and/or has expired registration, inspection, or base registration is considered abandoned. (paragraph 2)
Abandonment of motor vehicles on GAFB is prohibited. (paragraph 2)
If revocation for implied consent is combined with another revocation such as one year for intoxicated driving, revocations may run consecutively (total of 24 months) or concurrently (total of 12 months). (paragraph 2)
