The publication establishes initial and refresher training, testing, AF Form 483 issuance, operating procedures, and runway incursion prevention. It also addresses violations, accident reporting, controlled movement areas, escort procedures, and local airfield familiarization.
Applies to: This publication applies to all assigned, attached, or associate units of FAFB and units or individuals of units deployed to FAFB, to include Regular Air Force, the Air Force Reserve, the Air National Guard, and contractors.
I am also fully aware that no vehicle or pedestrian shall enter a runway or other controlled movement area without approval from the Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT). (paragraph 2)
At a minimum, the trainee must demonstrate the ability to operate a vehicle to and from their designated work areas. (paragraph 7)
