Under normal conditions, Military Family Housing (MFH) residents may water grass as necessary to maintain healthy lawns and shrubs. (paragraph 4)
Lawn watering maximum duration is 10 minutes at a time to improve ground absorption and minimize loss through run off. (paragraph 4)
Shut down automatic lawn sprinklers throughout the installation, including contracted areas. (paragraph 4)
No washing of government and private vehicles and aircraft. When unique operational requirements, contingencies, droughts, or facility limitations severely impact a unit’s ability to wash, the requirement may be temporarily waived two wash cycles not to exceed one year and approved by the Aircraft System Program Director. (paragraph 4)
