The publication includes planning, acquisition strategy, IP strategy, test strategy, and cost estimates, and provides Department of the Air Force guidance for acquiring capabilities through the software pathway.
Applies to: This publication applies to the United States Space Force, Regular Air Force, the Air Force Reserve, and the Air National Guard except where otherwise noted, as well as other individuals and organizations based on binding agreement or obligation with the DAF.
Ensure that all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication adhere to Air Force Instruction (AFI) 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and disposed of in accordance with the Air Force Records Information Management System.
