It establishes policy, procedures, delegated authority, and responsibilities for implementing the DoD Unemployment Compensation for Federal Employees Program. It also directs internal control measures to reduce errors and improve the accuracy of unemployment compensation payments.
Refer recommended changes and questions about this publication to the office of primary responsibility (OPR) using DAF Form 847, Recommendation for Change of Publication; route DAF Forms 847 from the field through the appropriate functional chain of command.
All Major Command (MAJCOM), Field Command (FLDCOM) or corresponding Secretariat, Air Staff and Office of the Chief of Space Operations level supplements must be approved by the Human Resource Management Strategic Board prior to certification and approval.
All supplements that directly implement this publication must be routed to the OPR for coordination.
Submit requests for waivers through the chain of command to the appropriate tier waiver approval authority, or alternately, to the requestor’s commander for non-tiered compliance items.
