Applies to: This publication applies to Regular Air Force (RegAF) and Air Reserve Component (ARC), which includes the Air Force Reserve (AFR) and Air National Guard (ANG), except where noted.
The Military Services must provide counseling to eligible Service members by TAP staff or command career counselors utilizing the “Guide for Transition Counselors: Script on Pre-Separation/Transitioning Counseling” (Pre-separation Script), to inform members of services, benefits, curriculum, assessments, CRS deliverables, and ITP during and after separation, retirement, or release from active duty. (paragraph 4)
Waivers must be documented on the DD Form 2648. (paragraph 4)
