DAFPD33-3 addresses information sharing, Records Management, the Privacy Act, Freedom of Information Act, Knowledge Management, Section 508, information collections, reporting, and document services. Prepare all official correspondence consistent with DoDM 5110.04, Volume 1 and Volume 2. (paragraph 2)
Provide guidance for the management of all information as assets that must be available to authorized personnel (with appropriate permissions and a need-to-know) when requested during mission operations and operational support activities. (paragraph 2)
Promote the principles of sharing information at all stages of the information life cycle. (paragraph 2)
Apply the same management principles consistently to all Information Assets regardless of source, owner, classification, media, location, or other defining characteristics. (paragraph 2)
Ensure Information Assets are made visible, accessible, understandable, linked, and trustworthy as early as possible in the information life cycle to support mission objectives. (paragraph 2)
