It covers life cycle documentation development, program integration, product support and sustainment, and life cycle systems engineering. The revision updates acquisition strategy, Acquisition Program Baseline, and Item Unique Identification sections and adds material on Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation, development planning, engineering certifications, and human system integration.
Applies to: This publication applies to all military and civilian AF personnel, including Air Force Reserve (AFR) units and the Air National Guard; other individuals or organizations as required by binding agreement or obligation with the Department of the Air Force (DAF).
To ensure standardization, any organization supplementing this publication should send the implementing publication to SAF/AQX for review and coordination before publishing.
Ensure all records generated as a result of processes prescribed in this publication adhere to Air Force Instruction (AFI) 33-322, Records Management of Information Governance Program, and are disposed in accordance with Air Force Records Information Management System.
The revision also adds new sections on Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR) activities, and appendices on development planning, engineering certifications, and human system integration.
