Applies to: This publication applies to DAF civilian employees and uniformed members of Regular Air Force (RegAF), United States Space Force (USSF), Air Force Reserve (AFR), and the Air National Guard (ANG).
Compliance with the attachments in this publication is mandatory.
Submit requests for waivers through the chain of command to the appropriate Tier waiver approval authority, or alternately, to the requester’s commander for non-tiered compliance items.
Failure by uniformed members of the RegAF, USSF, AFR on active duty or inactive duty for training and ANG members in Title 10 performing full-time National Guard duty or inactive duty for training status to obey the mandatory provisions in Chapter 4, paragraphs 4.4.7.1, 4.4.7.2, and 4.12.2 through 4.12.7 and their subparagraphs constitutes a failure to obey a lawful general regulation in violation of Article 92, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ).
