What receipt must a borrower provide for government property?

The borrower shall furnish the contracting officer (CO), OCALC PK, 3001 Staff Dr., Tinker AFB OK 73145-3055, with a copy of a signed receipt for the property. (paragraph 3)

Can property be shipped without contracting officer instructions?

The property shall not be shipped from the borrower’s facility without prior instructions from the CO. (paragraph 3)

What condition must property be in when it is returned?

The property shall be returned to the bailer in as good a condition (less fair wear and tear) as when provided. (paragraph 3)

Can a borrower destroy or irreversibly disassemble the property?

Under no circumstances shall the property or any part thereof, be subjected by the borrower to destruction or irreversible disassembly. (paragraph 4)

Can a borrower retransfer property or related technical data?

The borrower shall not retransfer the property, or technical data related to the property, to any other parties or firms within the United States or to foreign firms or governments. (paragraph 4)
