DAFMAN21-209V1 establishes ground munitions authorization tables and assigns responsibilities for forecasting, validation, and allocation. It requires supporting documentation, commander approval, and controls on training munition forecasts and expenditures.
Ensure ground training munitions requirements and allocations are consistent with historic expenditure data and no more than 10-percent above previous year’s expenditures for each type of munition, unless fully justified.
Approve and sign all unit munitions forecasts prior to forecast submission in the AMST.
GMAT reference is not required for unique or one-time requirements (e.g., specialized shooting schools, one-time unique events).
