Ensure all vehicles, munitions material handling equipment (MMHE), and support equipment are inspected for serviceability prior to the pickup and delivery of all requested, issued, and turn-in custody munitions to and from the munitions storage area.
Explosive containers must be restrained, blocked, braced, tied down, or otherwise secured to the vehicle to prevent movement, and must not damage explosives or containers.
No maintenance will be performed on an explosive-loaded vehicle or trailer that would increase the probability of fire or would require the use of heat-producing equipment.
After initial training, this must be completed NLT (no later than) every 15 months (as defined in AFI 91-202, para 9.11.3).
Ensure personnel are authorized to receive munitions via a current CAC, and validated by an AF Form 68, Munitions Authorization Record, before transferring possession of munitions items.
