What is the goal of the ITAM process?

The goal of the ITAM process is for individuals to embrace accountability for and the safeguarding of the Government property in their possession, and the organization to effectively account for that property and report it accurately and efficiently, with no impact on productivity.

What assets does ITAM cover?

ITAM covers all IT assets, hardware and software that are under the direct responsibility of the 844 CG and subordinate squadrons that meet the criteria defined within DAFMAN 17-1203, or constitute assets of special interest to the 844 CG Commander for Configuration Management (CM) purposes.
