It provides guidance and procedures for developing and processing Special Use Airspace and other airspace for military use. Compliance with the publication’s attachments is mandatory, and it requires records created through its prescribed processes to be maintained and disposed of under applicable Air Force requirements.
Applies to: This publication applies to the Department of the Air Force services (USAF and USSF), Air Force Reserve (AFR), and the Air National Guard (ANG) component of the National Guard Bureau (NGB).
Compliance with the attachments in this publication is mandatory.
Ensure all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained in accordance with Air Force Instruction (AFI) 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and disposed of in accordance with the Air Force Records Disposition Schedule, which is located in the Air Force Records Information Management System.
Attend USAF Airspace Management Course: Within the first 6-months of assuming airspace manager duties, if possible, and update the proper SEI (if applicable) in individual’s personnel records (N/A to ANG).
The wing plans on balancing this impact by activating the Sideshow MOA no more than four hours per day.
