It prescribes the process for submitting operational requirements for new or modified FLIP products, additional flight information, and other displays of flight information data. It also addresses FLIP program management, organizational roles, and the submission of aeronautical data changes.
Applies to: This publication applies to all civilian employees and uniformed members of the Regular Air Force, the Air National Guard, the Air Force Reserve, and United States Space Force who are involved in the development, acquisition, use and maintenance of FLIP products, except where noted otherwise.
The Aeronautical Data Change is the official document for the submission of aeronautical data changes within Department of Defense (DoD) and shared FLIP products and is a mandatory, inherent function required to keep FLIP information accurate and updated for safety of flight. (paragraph 90-161)
