The program involves two or more military Services, Combatant Commands (CCMDs), Joint Chiefs of Staff, or other Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, or interagency partners working to solve joint problems with non-materiel solutions.
The JT&E program develops, tests, and validates non-materiel solutions of fielded and soon-to-be-fielded systems.
JTs shall be preceded by a six-month Joint Feasibility Study (JFS).
CJTs are executed and funded by the participants and governed by a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with oversight from AFJO.
