It aligns supplement paragraphs with the revised Department of the Air Force instruction and updates safety investigation reporting terminology. It also adds AMC contact information and the AMC Hazard Review Board Charter.
Applies to: This publications applies to all AMC Regular Air Force personnel.
Ensure that all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained in accordance with (IAW) AFI 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and disposed of IAW Air Force Records Information Management System Records Disposition Schedule.
The authorities to waive wing, and unit level requirements in this publication are identified with a tier number (“T-0, T-1, T-2, T-3”) following the compliance statement.
Submit requests for waivers through the chain of command to the appropriate tier waiver approval authority, utilizing guidance identified in DAFI 33-360.
All references to the terms “formal report(s), formal safety report(s), and safety investigation report(s)” have been replaced with the term “safety report(s)”. (paragraph 33-360)
