DAFI90-802 defines risk management principles, goals, foundations, levels, processes, and organizational roles. It addresses real-time risk management, broader risk categories, and guidance for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks.
Applies to: This publication applies to all DAF civilian employees and uniformed members of the Regular Air Force, the Air Force Reserve, the Air National Guard, the United States Space Force (USSF), and those with a contractual obligation to abide by the terms of DAF publications.
DAF RM also assists leaders in identifying and controlling hazards to make informed decisions.
