The mobility programs’ respective enabling documents must clearly identify covered positions by type and level.
All developmental assignments involving geographic relocation (a permanent change of station) are subject to this instruction.
If the change involves a new position with a mobility requirement or a PCS to a location outside the local commuting area (e.g., to a geographically separated unit or a detachment) a mobility agreement will be necessary.
