DAFI35-110 covers Air Force Band missions, core competencies, objectives, music in communication, Regular Air Force bands, ANG bands, and band authorizations. Compliance is mandatory, and the instruction establishes requirements for records generated by its prescribed processes.
Applies to: This publication applies to military members of the Regular Air Force, Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve, the United States Space Force and Department of the Air Force civilian employees, regardless of grade or functional area.
The United States Space Force (USSF) and the Air Force Reserve (AFR) do not have bands but rather are supported by Regular Air Force bands.
Ensure all records generated as a result of processes prescribed in this publication adhere to Air Force Instruction 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and are disposed in accordance with the Air Force Records Disposition Schedule, which is located in the Air Force Records Information Management System.
