The publication addresses program mission, eligibility, funding, fitness and sports center standards, age policies, staffing, facilities, equipment, supplies, and sports programs. It also sets requirements for records, supplements, waivers, and Privacy Act information, and clarifies World Class Athlete Program requirements.
Applies to: This publication applies to all civilian employees and uniformed members of the Regular Air Force (RegAF), the United States Space Force (USSF), as well as the Air Force Reserve (AFR), and the Air National Guard (ANG).
Ensure all records generated as a result of processes prescribed in this publication adhere to Air Force Instruction (AFI) 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and are disposed IAW the Air Force Records Disposition Schedule, which is located in the Air Force Records Information Management System.
Changes include clarification to program requirements surrounding the World Class Athlete Program (WCAP), codifies the Department’s Esports and Gaming programs, and updates Table 3.1 to clarify Age Policy During Staffed Hours of Operation only.
