It addresses program overview, care foundations, the continuum of care, enrollment, and Airman support. Compliance with the publication is mandatory, and records generated through its prescribed processes must follow Air Force records requirements.
In collaboration with the Director of Personnel and Logistics for the United States Space Force, Chief of the Air Force Reserve (AF/RE), Director of the Air National Guard (NGB/CF), and Deputy Chief of Staff for Manpower, Personnel and Services, the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Manpower and Reserve Affairs (AF/A1) develops policy for Air Force Warrior and Survivor Care.
Regular component commanders will provide support to Air Reserve Component commanders as necessary to fully comply with all requirements.
