It sets minimum ages for purchasing, possessing, drinking, serving, and selling alcoholic beverages and identifies authorized sales facilities. It requires Dram Shop training, operating instructions, and written approval for certain events and locations.
Applies to: It applies to 56th Fighter Wing (FW) and also applies to the U. S. Air Force Reserve (AFRC) and to Air National Guard (ANG) units and members attached or assigned to Luke AFB.
The minimum drinking age for purchasing, possessing, or drinking alcoholic beverages on Luke Air Force Base (AFB) is 21 years of age. (paragraph 34-107)
The sale, dispensing, possession, or consumption of alcoholic or malt beverages on base, except as provided by DAFI 34-107 and this supplement, are expressly prohibited. (paragraph 34-107)
Any individual who sells, handles, or serves alcoholic beverages on Luke AFB will be required to receive Dram Shop training which will include, but is not limited to, reading applicable OIs and approved training material prior to commencing work. (paragraph 34-107)
Each Force Support activity that serves and/or sells alcoholic beverages will write and establish an OI that designates Dram Shop responsibilities for the activity. (paragraph 34-107)
Consumption and possession of open containers of alcoholic beverages are prohibited on Luke AFB except in the following locations approved by the 56 FW/CC (See Table 4.2.). (paragraph 7)
