DAFI32-1015 governs integrated planning for development and redevelopment of Department of the Air Force installations.

It establishes a framework covering installation planning principles, resource advocacy, environmental impact analysis, mission assurance, facility space, geospatial information, and encroachment planning. Compliance is mandatory, and the publication sets requirements for supplements, waivers, and records generated by its processes.
Applies to: This publication applies to all United States Air Force (USAF), United States Space Force (USSF), Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) and Air National Guard (ANG) installations located inside the United States, its territories and possessions worldwide unless otherwise specified in this instruction.
All supplements must be routed to the office of primary responsibility (OPR) for coordination prior to certification and approval.
Refer recommended changes and questions about this publication to the OPR listed above using the DAF Form 847, Recommendation for Change of Publication; route AF Forms 847 from the field through the appropriate chain of command.
Submit requests for waivers through the chain of command to the appropriate Tier waiver approval authority or alternately, to the requestor’s commander for non-tiered compliance items.
Ensure all records generated because of processes prescribed in this publication adhere to Air Force Instruction (AFI) 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and are disposed in accordance with the Air Force Records Disposition Schedule, which is in the Air Force Records Information Management System.
Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 of this instruction do not apply to AFRC and ANG units operating at civil airfields that are subject to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) planning regulations.
