Applies to: This publication applies to the entire DAF, including all uniformed members of the Regular Air Force (RegAF), United States Space Force, Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard, except where noted otherwise, all DAF civilian employees, and those with a contractual obligation to abide by the terms of DAF issuances.
Use existing resources and self-service capabilities before articulating new requirements for resources or capabilities. (paragraph 2)
Secure funding to fulfill requirements beyond the GeoBase Programs core sustainment. (paragraph 2)
Manage inclusion of new assigned geospatial data layers and ensure the validity and relevance of assigned geospatial data layer(s) in the Geospatial Data Model (GDM). (paragraph 2)
Determine data requirements verification, data creation and collection methodologies, and data quality assurance and quality control procedures. (paragraph 2)
Coordinate with functional owners to validate the suitability of existing sources of geospatial information prior to investing in new geospatial data collection efforts (T-2). (paragraph 2)
