DAFI25-202 identifies supported Unified Combatant Commands and subordinate commands and assigns support roles across the Department of the Air Force. It covers military end strength, construction, budgeting, programming, and the submission of unfunded headquarters support requirements.
Applies to: This instruction applies to all DAF civilian and uniformed members of the Regular Air Force, United States Space Force (USSF), Air Force Reserve (AFR) and Air National Guard (ANG) that provide Combatant Command headquarters (HQ) support.
Serve as DAF focal point for support of UCC and subordinate UCC headquarters for which the DAF has Combatant Command Support Agent (CCSA) responsibility. (paragraph 2)
Verify USAF military end strength requirements for administrative and logistic support of the Combatant Command headquarters. (paragraph 2)
Provide guidance for developing military construction projects for submission to the Air Force Military Construction Working Group through DAFI 32-1020, Planning and Programming Built Infrastructure Projects. (paragraph 2)
Provide an Operating Budget Authority (OBA) to the Combatant Commands. The Combatant Commands will subdivide the operating budget authority to installations including the same content as the operating budget authority received. (paragraph 2)
As assigned in Table 2, compile, coordinate and submit unfunded Combatant Command headquarters logistics and administrative support requirements to AF/A8P in accordance with annual POM Preparation Instructions (PPI). (paragraph 2)
