Ensure all records generated as a result of processes prescribed in this publication adhere to Air Force Instruction 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and are disposed in accordance with the Air Force Records Disposition Schedule, which is located in the Air Force Records Information Management System.
An AMS is composed of air transportation, aircraft maintenance personnel, and critical support personnel and serves as an en-route station, or in-transit hub for cargo and passenger movement between specified regions.
The mission of these units is to deploy its personnel typically within 12 hours to open air bases or augment existing air bases worldwide.
Contingency response units typically consist of air transportation, maintenance, command and control, security forces, and other personnel.
Support for DoD and the Air Force’s capability to deliver passengers and air cargo worldwide.
