DAFI21-201_DYESSAFBSUP addresses TICMS as the Class V accountable property system of record, COTS munitions management, WRM munitions, ISO container shipments, and STAMP positioning. It requires prescribed inspections, documentation, markings, asset positioning, and approval processes.
Applies to: This instruction applies to all personnel assigned or attached to the 7th Bomb Wing (7 BW) and the 317th Airlift Wing (317 AW) as well as all tenant units operating on Dyess Air Force Base.
Before loading munitions for shipment, prior-to-use inspections will be performed on the containers, to include visual interior and exterior examination for obvious defects. (paragraph 7)
Munitions activities that generate munitions shipments using ISO containers will attach shipping documents to the inside of a door on each container. (paragraph 7)
RFID tags are detached from the outer container surface and reattached to the inside of the container door or consolidated into a central location immediately upon removal of assets. (paragraph 7)
25-percent of the total CONUS allocated quantity is the STAMP positioning objective. CONUS units, including ARC units, will not requisition these quantities. (T-1) STAMP requisitions and positions these assets. (paragraph 3)
When assets are authorized for release in accordance with paragraph 9.5 as an approved FMS case all shipping documents are annotated with “Released in accordance with FMS-CASE XXXX” and attach copies of authorizing correspondence. (paragraph 7)
