The publication establishes requirements for cyber hygiene, FMXC2 access, accident prevention, and hearing protection during maintenance activities. It requires authorized hearing PPE, hearing protection within cordons, and specified access and training authorizations.
Applies to: This publication applies to all JBC civilian employees and uniformed members of the Regular Air Force, the Air Force Reserve, and those who are contractually obligated to comply with DAF publications.
All base agencies dispatched to aircraft runway, taxiway, parking apron, or maintenance areas will adhere to proper cyber hygiene by ensuring all annual computer security training remains current.
Personnel requiring access to the FMXC2 system will fill out a DD Form 2875, System Authorization Access Request (SAAR), and then email a digitally signed DD Form 2875 to their supervisor to digitally sign.
Flight training monitors and unit training managers must have written authorization from the Chief of Maintenance Training to update training screens.
Supervisors will ensure that any problems are addressed and corrected prior to the start of any activity.
Personnel performing, supervising, evaluating, or supporting logistics actions should carry a “Knock It Off” card (Attachment 15) on their person at all times.
