It prescribes basic maintenance programs and directs senior managers, supervisors, and technicians in aircraft maintenance management. It addresses organization, maintenance discipline, training, information systems, and explosive safety and security.
Applies to: This publication applies to USSF units designated as Non Standard Organizations (NSOs) in paragraph 1.2 and those with USSF contractual obligation, when associated with AFMC where AFMC is the servicing MAJCOM.
In the event of a conflict between this instruction and Technical Orders (TOs), TOs will take precedence. (paragraph 90-161)
