It addresses integrated network attributes, repair network constructs, product repair groups, levels of repair, metrics, and reporting. It also establishes Centralized Repair Facility processes and checklists, including approval and implementation responsibilities.
Applies to: This publication applies to the all military, civilian employees and contractors of the Regular Air Force, Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard (ANG), and to other individuals or organizations as required by binding agreement or obligation with the Department of the Air Force.
Any contractor requirements contained within this instruction must be contained within the contract, grant, or agreement to be enforceable.
Ensure that all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication adhere to AFI 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and disposed of in accordance with Air Force Records Disposition Schedule located in the Air Force Records Information Management System.
When network design or stakeholder determination identifies the need for a CRF, the recommendation must be approved by the ERM. (paragraph 3)
Upon approval, the appropriate MAJCOM/ANG becomes the overall OPR for ensuring CRF establishment. (paragraph 3)
Successful CRF stand-up requires maximum participation from all network stakeholders. (paragraph 3)
