The publication covers supply chain management quality assurance, evaluator and logistics activity roles, contracted functions, munitions, and fuels activities. It makes Headquarters Air Force-developed process assessments mandatory and revises minimum personnel assessment percentages for specified logistics functions.
Applies to: This Instruction applies to all active duty Air Force Uniformed and civilian personnel assigned to HQ AFSOC.
Subordinate units may supplement this publication, but all supplements must be routed to the OPR of this publication for coordination prior to certification and approval.
The authorities to waive wing/unit-level requirements in this publication are identified with a Tier (“T-0, T-2, or T-3”) number following the compliance statement.
Submit requests for waivers through the chain of command to the appropriate tier waiver authority IAW Department of the Air Force Manual (DAFMAN) 90-161, Publishing Processes and Procedures.
Changes include increases in the minimum personnel assessment percentages for Flight Service Center, Aircraft Parts Store, Physical Inventory Control, Inspection, Individual Protective Equipment, Customer Support Liaison, Equipment Accountability Element, and Decentralized Maintenance Support.
Ensure that all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained in accordance with AFI 33-322, Records Management and Informational Governance Program, and disposed of in accordance with the Air Force Records Information Management System Records Disposition Schedule.
