Applies to: This publication applies to all civilian employees and uniformed members of the Regular Air Force, the Air Force Reserve, the Air National Guard, the United States Space Force, and those with a contractual obligation to abide by the terms of DAF publications.
The entire capability development and Materiel Enterprise is collectively responsible for integrating intelligence into capability development, R&D, test, and the acquisition life cycle. (paragraph 2)
Provide policy and guidance to ensure intelligence integrates throughout capability development, test, R&D, and the acquisition life cycle IAW this instruction. (paragraph 2)
All personnel will complete IQT during the first year of assignment to their unit. (paragraph 2)
MQT applies specific organization and mission context to skills gained in IQT and provides additional training to achieve mission ready qualification. (paragraph 2)
Continuation Training promotes a continuous learning environment, ensuring that intelligence personnel are always qualified and current to perform their assigned duties by maintaining proficiency in the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities. (paragraph 2)
