It establishes local airfield driving procedures and training and testing standards for military and civilian personnel conducting ground vehicular traffic operations. It also covers controlled movement areas, vehicle passes, temporarily assigned personnel, contractors, escort procedures, and AF Form 483 requirements.

Airfield driving privileges will be suspended for all individuals who do not complete annual refresher training/testing on or before the last day of the month of expiration. (paragraph 1-6)
Host Unit Commander or Contractor Lead will provide the Wing ADPM an MFR to identify the scope, duration and information on all TDY, Inspection Teams and/or Non-base assigned contractors requiring temporary AF Form 483s. (paragraph 1-6)
All POV or contractor requests must provide a valid State Driver’s License, valid Vehicle Registration, AF paragraph Form 483, Airfield Driver’s License, and proof of insurance IAW AFI 13-213_AMCSUP, paragraph 4.29.4 and 4.29.8. (paragraph 3)
Assess each unit’s airfield driving program at least annually for program integrity and compliance. (paragraph 1-6)
