Applies to: This DAFI applies to all civilian employees and uniformed members of the United States Space Force, Regular Air Force, Air Force Reserve, and Air National Guard organizations (to include contracted locations) that administer an airfield driving program.
Compliance with the Attachments 2,3,4,5,6,7,8, and 9 in this instruction is mandatory.
Members in training longer than 30 calendar days without a valid reason (e.g., medical or emergency leave, TDY, etc.) will be removed from training and will need to reaccomplish all training.
At a minimum, the trainee must demonstrate the ability to operate a vehicle to and from their designated work areas. (paragraph 7)
7.3. Demonstrate the ability to contact ATCT for approval to enter/exit the CMA. (paragraph 1-6)
I am also fully aware that no vehicle or pedestrian shall enter a runway or other CMA (s) without approval from the ATCT. (paragraph 1-6)
