CFETP8IXXX covers specialty descriptions, training decisions, implementation, course resources, competency-based learning, and third-party certification. It identifies initial, qualification, advanced, and proficiency training requirements and requires each individual to complete mandatory training specified in the plan.
Applies to: The plan will be used by SAF/IG, MAJCOM/FLDCOM IGs, AFIA, Wing IGs and supervisors at all levels to ensure comprehensive and cohesive training programs are available for each individual in the SDI.
Each individual will complete the mandatory training requirements specified in this CFETP. (paragraph 2)
Part II is utilized to identify, plan, and conduct training commensurate with the overall goals of this plan. (paragraph 4)
The CFETP uses a building block approach (simple to complex) to encompass the entire spectrum of training requirements for the IG career field. (paragraph 4)
Each competency is further broken down into the following proficiency levels; basic, intermediate, advanced, and expert. (paragraph 4)
Core tasks identified in this CFETP do not require third-party certification. (paragraph 2)
