CFETP4V0X1 defines tasks and knowledge for each skill level and establishes mandatory entry, award, and retention requirements. It includes the Specialty Training Standard, training strategies, qualification requirements, resource constraints, work center plans, and electronic training records.
2.3.1 4V031/S. Completion of the Medical Education Training Campus (METC) Ophthalmic Technician program. Specifically, for ophthalmology, after completion of the METC program, completion of the Ophthalmic Surgical Course at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland. (paragraph 2)
2.5.1.1 Vision corrected to at least 20/30 in either eye. (paragraph 2)
2.5.3 For award and retention of AFSCs 4V031/S, 4V051/S, 4V071/S, and 4V091, must maintain an Air Force Network License according to AFI 33-115 to AFI 33-115, Volume 2, Licensing Network Users and Certifying Network Professionals. (paragraph 2)
