The publication adds procedures for decertifying Airmen who become unqualified on previously certified tasks and beginning recertification when required. It addresses approved training system updates, DAF Form 623A entries, and maintained Hearing Conservation Certification or other training requirements.
Applies to: This change is applicable to the electronically published 4E0X1 CFETP, dated 30 June 2020, and is effective immediately.
When a supervisor determines an Airman is unqualified on a task previously certified for in their duty position, the supervisor deletes certification using the approved training system. (paragraph 1)
Appropriate remarks pertaining to the reason for decertification are entered on the DAF Form 623A, On-the Job Training Record Continuation Sheet, or automated version. (paragraph 1)
Decertification at 3-, 5-, or 7-skill level (MSgt and below) will occur if Hearing Conservation Certification or any other training requirements are not maintained. (paragraph 1)
Begin recertification process (if required) with assistance from your local Unit Training Manager. (paragraph 1)
