It covers public affairs specialty progression, career development, proficiency requirements, course training standards, constraints, and training sources. It requires completion of the DINFOS Public Affairs Qualification Course and all core tasks for the 35P3 Air Force Specialty Code.
Officers receive the qualified level 35P3 Air Force Specialty Code following completion of the DINFOS Public Affairs Qualification Course, completion of all core tasks in the CFETP as documented in Training Business Area, and 18 months of commissioned experience in a public affairs assignment. (paragraph 2)
Active duty officers are not eligible for a permanent change of station until awarded the 35P3 Air Force Specialty Code. (paragraph 2)
PALACE Acquire interns are not eligible for outplacement until they have completed the DINFOS Public Affairs Qualification Course, completed all core tasks in the CFETP as documented in Training Business Area, and fulfilled other mandatory training and experience requirements of the program. (paragraph 2)
Some tasks cannot be performed at every unit. In such cases, trainees must be able to describe procedures needed to complete the tasks and explain their underlying concepts and principles. (paragraph 2)
