CFETP2W2X1 contains specialty duties, career progression, training decisions, course listings, and the career field path. It requires mandatory core-task training for skill-level upgrade and establishes the Specialty Training Standard as a Job Qualification Standard for on-the-job training.
Applies to: The plan will be used by MFMs and supervisors at all levels to ensure comprehensive and cohesive training programs are available for each individual in the specialty.
Each individual must complete the mandatory training requirements (core tasks) specified in this plan for skill level upgrade. (paragraph 2)
Personnel are encouraged to take courses to develop their management of resources and personnel skills, and must complete the 7-level CDC before upgrade to the 7-skill level. (paragraph 21-204)
Qualification in and possession of AFSC 2W271 and completion of Advanced Nuclear Munitions System Course (J3AAR2W291 047X) will be a requirement to obtain the 9-skill level (effective 1 Oct 23). (paragraph 21-204)
Complies with nuclear, missile, explosive, and general safety requirements; weapons systems safety rules; and technical order procedures. (paragraph 1)
