Applies to: This Specialty Training Standard is used for technical training provided by AETC for all classes beginning on or after (01 October 2025).
Performs and manages air transportation activities. Plans, schedules and processes eligible passengers and cargo for air movement. Loads and unloads passengers, cargo, and baggage moved on military and commercial-contract aircraft. (paragraph 1)
Core Task STS line items are mandatory and must be completed before the 5-, 7-, or 9- skill level can be awarded. (paragraph 2)
Tasks and knowledge items status documentation must show a start date, completion date, trainee/trainer and certifier initials (when required). (paragraph 2)
Tasks are trained and qualified to the “go/no go” level. “Go” means the individual can perform the task without assistance and meet local demands for accuracy, timeliness, and correct use of procedures. (paragraph 2)
Active-duty, Reserve, and Guard training records must be maintained for SMSgts and below. (paragraph 4)
