CFETP2A3X4 governs education, training, qualification, and career progression requirements for the Fighter Aircraft Integrated Avionics specialty.

It contains career progression information, specialty qualifications, resource constraints, training standards, course objectives, and MAJCOM unique training requirements. It requires supervisors and trainers to use the plan to identify, plan, manage, and conduct training.
The CFETP consists of two parts. Supervisors will use both parts to plan, manage, and control training within the career field. (paragraph 2)

When necessary, the AFCFM can direct expedited training to support wartime requirements.
“Go” means the individual can perform the task without assistance and meets local requirements for accuracy, timeliness, and correct procedures.
Unless mandated by another source (e.g. engine run currency requirements in DAFI 21-101), there is no career field standard for proficiency. Once a trainee is qualified on a task, she or he remains qualified unless de-certified IAW DAFMAN36-2689.
