CFETP21MX covers career progression, competency-based training, approved course standards, development plans, badges, and on-the-job training. It requires officers to follow its provisions and convert prior proficiencies, education, training, and experiences to the competency-based methodology.
Applies to: Meant for utilization by individual 21Ms, supervisors, commanders, development teams (DTs), and mentors to ensure comprehensive and cohesive force development programs are available for the 21MX AFSC.
21M Occupational Competencies should be used by all officers and their supervisors/mentors/commanders to evaluate proficiency throughout a career and guide force development efforts. (paragraph 3)
HQ USAF/A4LW will review the CFETP annually and make updates and changes as appropriate. (paragraph 4)
All other elements of this CFETP must be followed. (paragraph 5)
