Applies to: This Career Field Education and Training Plan provides the information necessary for Air Force Career Field Managers, Major Command Functional Managers, commanders, training managers, supervisors, and trainers to plan, develop, manage, and conduct an effective and efficient career field training program.
MFMs and supervisors will use the plan at all levels to ensure comprehensive and cohesive training programs are available for each individual in the specialty. (paragraph 2)
Each individual will complete mandatory training requirements specified in this plan. (paragraph 2)
The TACP AFCFM is the approval authority for this CFETP. (paragraph 3)
IAW DAFMAN 36-2689, Training Program, the TACP CFM is the waiver approval authority for mandatory training, experience, and education listed in the official specialty description referenced in Air Force Enlisted Classification Directory (AFECD). (paragraph 4)
Waiver requests must be approved by the MAJCOM Functional Manager prior to review by the AFCFM. (paragraph 4)
