Applies to: This instruction applies to all Air National Guard (ANG) members serving in the Statutory Tour Program under Title 10 USC, Section 12301(d).
Refer recommended changes and questions about this publication to the Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR) using the DAF Form 847, Recommendation for Change of Publication; route DAF Form 847 through the appropriate chain of command.
Submit requests for waivers through the chain of command to the appropriate Tier waiver approval authority, or alternately, to the publication OPR for non-tiered compliance items.
Ensure all records generated as a result of processes prescribed in this publication adhere to Air Force Instruction (AFI) 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and are disposed of in accordance with the Air Force records disposition schedule located in the Air Force Records Information Management System, unless otherwise noted.
Major updates reflect (1.) new guidelines and procedures related to the management of individuals who are assigned to or are supporting the ANG Statutory Tour Program, (2.) changes to assignment policy for State Development Tours, (3.) adding policy for the Career Development Tour Program, and (4.) changes addressing the management of personnel and positions assigned to Major Commands (MAJCOMs).
