ANGI36-3201 covers the NGB Form 22, separation and discharge document processing, organizational roles, and discharge certificates. It requires review of official separation records and specifies processes for correcting missing or inaccurate information.
Applies to: This publication applies to all officers and enlisted members of the Air National Guard.
The NGB Form 22 is generated by the Air Reserve Personnel Center (ARPC) for all separations and discharges from the ANG with the exception of separations for being a minor in accordance with AFI 36-3209 or deaths. (paragraph 2-2)
Inaccurate information on the NGB Form 22 could result in delay or denial of benefits or the ability to reenter the U.S. Armed Forces. (paragraph 36-32)
Review their official NGB Form 22 upon receipt. (paragraph 2-2)
Contact ARPC via myPers if errors are discovered on the official NGB Form 22. (paragraph 2-2)
Discharge certificates are generated upon request by the member for applicable separations and discharges from the ANG. (paragraph 2-2)
